Description:
Cold Steel was formed in January of 2005. The band's lineup includes Alex DiBaise on vocals/rhythm guitar, his twin brother Matt DiBaise on lead guitar, Gage McClain on drums and Josh Graves on bass. The band formed when its members were only aged 12 to 14, but their live music skills were already at the level of long-time musicians.
In December of 2006, Cold Steel recorded their first 5-song EP, And It Begins. The band returned to the studio in late 2007 to begin work on their first full-length CD, and wrapped production in March 2008. A national college radio campaign saw the band on over 140 radio stations in 42 states playing live music in support of the CD. The single "Stuck" and its accompanying video were released, and the music video for "Stuck" aired nationwide on Fuse on Demand and was requested over 4,200 times during the month of September 2008.
Now ranging in ages from 16 to 18, the band has just released a new EP with Grammy-nominated producer Tom Tatman (Stone Sour) at the helm.
On stage, Cold Steel performs live music with the adrenaline of youth and the experience of over 200 live shows they've performed. Their ability to "play it like the record" is a major source of pride for the band.

Customer Reviews & Ratings
I saw these kids at The Garage in Papillion. I have to admit, being a metalhead, that I was a bit skeptical about this performance. I have seen a lot of young bands that are just that, young and inexperienced. This band surprised me a bit. They are young, but they play like they have been around the block a few times. They seem to have a real strong stage presence and they like what they are doing. As far as this show is concerned, I think they could quite possibley have been the third band or the headliner for this show rather in the number two slot. The future looks good for these kids.
